What is RelayShield?


RelayShield is a privacy-focused service that provides relay phone numbers and email addresses. It forwards incoming SMS, voice calls, and emails to your real contact information, keeping your private data hidden from third parties.

What services do you offer?


We offer Phone Relay (SMS and Voice forwarding) and Email Relay (Email forwarding/aliases).

How does Phone Relay work?


When you sign up for a plan that includes Phone Relay, you can choose a relay phone number. Any SMS or voice calls sent to this relay number will be automatically forwarded to your verified real phone number.

Can I reply to forwarded SMS messages?


Yes! If your plan supports it (Standard and Premium), you can use our "Smart Reply" feature. To reply, just send a message back to your relay number, starting with the last 4 digits of the original sender's number followed by your message (e.g., 1234 Hello back).

How do I block unwanted callers or texters?


You can block a number directly via SMS by sending block followed by the last 4 digits of the number you want to block to your relay number. Alternatively, you can manage your blocked numbers list in the Dashboard under "Settings".

What countries are available for relay numbers?


Currently, we offer relay numbers in Australia (AU), Canada (CA), and the United Kingdom (GB). Note that US numbers cannot be used as relay numbers at this time.

How many relay numbers can I have?


The number of relay numbers depends on your subscription level. Standard plans typically include one number, while Premium plans allow for multiple numbers and the ability to choose their location.

How does Email Relay work?


You can create unlimited email aliases that forward to your real email address. This allows you to sign up for services without revealing your primary email, reducing spam and protecting your identity.

What are the subscription plans?


We offer three tiers:
  • Basic: Includes Email Relay features like unlimited aliases and outbound email sending.
  • Standard: Adds Phone Relay (SMS/Voice forwarding) and Smart Reply.
  • Premium: Includes all features plus multiple relay numbers and the ability to choose your number's location.

How do I manage my subscription?


You can manage your subscription, including upgrading or canceling, through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your Account Settings.
